$10 each. “Get your Trayvon Martin Memorial Rally shirts here!”  Or something like that.  Amazing how so many folks want you to believe they’re in favor of “justice”, while they’re all in it for fame and the Almighty Dollar..or $10.  I don’t know if this entrepreneur is strictly a local franchisee of some sort…or if he’s part of some entrepreneurial co-op…or… Never mind- this guy is just flat-out making money off of a dead kid.  Nothing cute about that And nothing cute about trampling on a young man’s grave in pursuit of cash.

Some haven’t sought to make money, per se. Some are nothing but pot-calling-the-kettle-black vigilantes- intent on getting a “justice” that meets their conditions alone.

vig·i·lan·te noun /ˌvijəˈlantē/vigilantes, plural
A member of a self-appointed group of citizens who undertake law enforcement in their community without legal authority, typically because the legal agencies are thought to be inadequate

George Zimmerman is but the most famous of the Sanford, Florida vigilantes of late- he by no means stands alone.  The New Black Panther Party distributed the George Zimmerman “Wanted” posters shown above yesterday- though George Zimmerman is not, repeat NOT being sought for law enforcement at this time.  Central Florida-area congresswoman Corrine Brown (D-Fla), though?  She told last night’s crowd that she wanted an arrest:  “I only want one thing.  It’s real simple: I want an arrest.”  Yeah, let’s just forget that crazy ol’ “probable cause” thing.

Brown’s surely do little to quell the racial hostilities around here.  More so, she’s providing encouragement to folks like the New Black Panthers that have vowed to hunt George Zimmerman down and “get him”.  Mighty scary stuff, boys and girls- mighty scary stuff.

Lastly (where he should be), we come to Reverend Al “Tawana Brawley” Sharpton.  If there’s a racism pot to stir up, you know Al’s gonna be there with a stick!  Perhaps the biggest racist our airwaves have ever seen, this convicted liar and race pimp is never one to shy from an opportunity to get his name in the papers and in the spotlight.  It’s a sad thing to know that so many look to Sharpton as some sort of Pied Piper…some civil rights “activist” or “pioneer” that’s going to lead them somewhere.  What a fraud.

If Al Sharpton cared for Trayvon Martin as much as he claims, he’d care enough to take down his tent and move his circus down the road.  Anything associated with Sharpton is immediately suspect, any cause he advocates instantly a racially-motivated one.  Trayvon Martin‘s mother, Sybrina Fulton, has said that “this is not about a black and white thing.
This is about a wrong and right thing.”

I’d love to agree, SybrinaBut as long as Sharpton and his band of misfits lead the parade, it is going to be a black and white thing- for he won’t let it be anything else.

Funny thing… I didn’t know the tragic death of a young man was such a joyous occasion– or one tailored to photo ops and laughter.  Guess I’ll never understand….and I’m glad.

I have heard that the proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go the family of Trayvon. If it were my child I cannot imagine the pain and feelings of injustice they must be feeling with the laws that surround this case. My heart goes out to the family in mourning. Peace.

First of all, don’t you think it’s in any realtor’s best interests to stay NEUTRAL on any social or controversial issue? Everybody’s money is green, buddy. And aren’t you the rental agent for George Zimmerman’s former home? How much money will you make off George Zimmerman? That’s you in the rental information for this home, isn’t it?

    • Good Afternoon,

I was a human long before I was ever a Realtor- so while I can assure you I treat everyone I encounter fairly, I won’t shy away from commenting on something because others feel I should do so. You are correct in that I did have George Zimmerman’s former townhome on the market for rent at one point- but no longer. Lastly, with regard to how much money I’ll make off of George Zimmerman: would you feel that that unit being the one where he once lived would make it easier or tougher to rent out? You probably know the answer to that one- and why I haven’t made (and won’t make) a dime off of George Zimmerman.
