Back to school time, Central Florida

Yes, it’s that time already.  That’s already from the kids’ perspective- and “They’re not on the bus yet?” from the parents’ end!

Here in the Orlando area, the surrounding areas fall in as many as 6 different counties- so it does get a bit tricky keeping up with things sometimes.  With schools getting re-zoned a good bit, it even gets tricky within districts- and the “Where does my kid go this year?” question is one you’ll hear a good bit these days.

Things are great when it comes to Seminole and Orange counties– and they’re the ones where a great deal of our properties sit.

Seminole County Schools start tomorrow, August 13th.  That system is one of the top 5 systems in Florida, and the high-quality education its schools provide makes homes in the district very, very desirable.  The following link leads to the school district’s calendar for the coming year:

Orange County Schools (where the City of Orlando sits) begin a week later, on Monday, August 20th. The link that follows leads to some very important information for the first-time Orange County student. Among other things, the information includes a list of what a student/parent will need when going in for first-time registration:

Alarm clocks set, Seminole County!
